Fred Koon, Founder

Now retired, Fred grew up in Buncombe County and graduated from NC State University with a degree in Engineering. He spent the first 20 years of my career working as a professional engineer in the corporate world. “While I enjoyed my career and was thankful for it, something was missing. As a side project, I purchased an old house that had been converted to apartments. As I lovingly and painstakingly restored this majestic home back to its original glory, I realized that my true calling was to build and restore homes.” Fred took a chance and relocated his family back to the mountains of Western North Carolina to be closer to the places and people he loves. He has always been proud to be part of the positive growth taking place in our area.

From our start in 2000 to today, our company has grown and changed, but our core values remain the same.

Seth Koon, President

Seth grew up in the small town of Marion, NC, building forts and tree houses unknowingly developing a passion for building. He went on to attend East Carolina University where he  obtained a bachelors degree in Construction Management. Wanting to put his degree to use, he returned to the Asheville area to build with his father. They have now been building homes in the Asheville area for 20+ years. He has a wonderful wife and 1 four legged friend. They enjoy the outdoors and are glad to call the mountains of Western North Carolina home.
